The Processor (also called main processor or CPU) is the central calculating unit of the computer; the chip is executing all commands from programs.
In a technical view, it is a quartz swinging very often. The number of Mhz (megahertz) is the quantity of swinging of the proecessor quartz per second. This number provides information about the speed of the processor. However, only same processor types of the same producer can be compared by means of this indicator.
