Please help, I'm having a strange sound problem with my computer (Win XP). Well I always had sound and everything was fine. Then I installed an old program and the sound disappeared and never came back. I already deinstalled the software but it doesnt help. There is no speaker icon in the tray and it says I have no sound device
Did you tried to update your sound driver ? Which program was it exactly ?
Do the following manip :
Control Panel > System > Hardware > Device Manager
and check if you donīt have a yellow question mark, if itīs the case, download the last sound driver for your sound card and your problemīll be resolved.
