I've been working for days, cleaning trojans off my pc. My last report came back clean with the exception of 1 warning...pagefile.sys could not be opened..in use by another program. Is this normal, or something I should be concerned about? Please help
in fact when you find in report antivirus, warning about one file or more ... say that files could not be opened. in this case you have to know this:
*- (MAYBE) there is trojan in some place in your pc generating Boot Sector Viruses (it have 0 kb in size or less than, it hide itself in the end of any HDD partition area). these viruses in most, write on data of these files and to be unreadable, and continue write on files one by one until changing all HDD data and format to become this format (RAW not (FAt Or NTFS)).
thus you can't run the Windows, and unable to format your HDD (Locked). this situation driving to use (windows media center) to be able to formating your HDD ...
anyway, whatever you must now using (RAM Cleaner) software (use google to find it), or, for safe take this advice [FORMAT YOUR HARDDISK, AND MAKE NEW PARTITION, THEN INSTALL NEW WINDOWS, AND POWERFULL ANTIVIRUS], after that, you can use and work on PC safely.
