Longman dictionary program uses mozilla interface and Apple Quicktime. After upgrading Apple QT to version 7, the error message "the page cannot be displayed. personal security manager is needed to display this page. Please download and install psm."

It is learnt that psm cannot be downloaded separately but is available as an installation option but the mozilla installation process does not provide an option for psm.

can it be fixed?

According to the PSM website, you get the Personal Security Manager along with Netscape 6 and higher.

Try here to download the free Netscape package:

You'll find some older PSM Versions for download also here:
