Hi, Some "repair guy" has copied over my Windows XP with a pirate copy, after repairing a virus; I reinstalled a new XP Professional and now only the pirate copy works?

If you want to sure you could delete the hole computer. It's the best way to solve your problem. But for this you need the disc on which is Windows. However you solve your problem, safe your files on discs, sticks, or hard drive disc.
You will never be able to delete the pirate copy completely. You could remove its entry in the boot.ini file. You'll find the boot.ini by executing msconfig (Start -> execute).
Or you save your private data and delete the complete bootpartition and reinstall Windows.
Take a look if you have under C: windows (the first installation), windows1 (the second) and windows2 (the third). The last will be the XP Pro from you. Prepare the boot.ini that you can boot your XP Pro and then delet the other ones.
