I have an Avalon mobile hard drive that suddenly has ceased to function. When I turn it on, it begins make the normal "whirring" sound and then it begins to make a "clicking" sound that repeats about 4-5 times and then the drive disconnects itself. It was purchased at PLUS and is under warranty. The manual gives no indication as to where to contact for service.
