Enter Question here: My Matshita DVD-RAM UJ-851S ATA stopped working, can\'t load

Hi.  I have a HP dv9009us laptop and recently upgraded to Vista.  Everything was fine at first, now my Matshita DVD-RAM UJ-851S ATA Device is not working.  I get the error messaqe that it cannot load  it.  Does anyone know how to fix this?  I cannot find a THING on it!  Thank you, I'm lost without it!   

Did you install the new drivers? There is also some software updates for your laptop running Windows Vista offered on the HP website:

You'll find new audio, chipset, graphics, input-device, modem and network drivers and also a BIOS update (be careful!) and "Essential System Updates for Microsoft Windows Vista".
