HL-DT-ST DVDRAM GSA-T20N ATA device is not working
To solve annoying Windows errors, you might want to try a Windows Registry Check. In most cases, optimizing the Windows registry will speed up your Windows.
I have deleted and restarted the PC, and I get the message that it could not load as the file may be corrupt, I have tried restoring to a date prior to my uninstalling itunes, this does not work. I have followed yur advise to reset the regedit upper and lower filters to 0, and have also tried a registry fix program and drive detective, non of these have worked either. I have looked on line for the drive to no avail. Windows and my PC manufacturer don't seem to be a great help either. Can you suggest any other methods. Does the Vista disc have a fix tool and will it auto boot up on startup, if so would you suggest this as a lat option, I don't really want to have to installl windows again.
