Win Vista: HL-DT-ST DVDRAM GSA-T20N ATA Device - Solution
To solve annoying Windows errors, you might want to try a Windows Registry Check. In most cases, optimizing the Windows registry will speed up your Windows.
Applying changes to the registry is not that simple, you can really destroy your pc with changing a wrong entry. Please keep that in mind and write the original values down before changing anything, so you can put them in again!

;)I followed the registry instructions for my Acer 5050-3785 with Windows Vista, when I go through the RUN=regedit then the listed digits, I only had Highfilters listed, I right clicked on it, clicked modify, it showed the value; NTIDrvr. I went in removed the NTIDrvr and typed in "0" and then exited out, restarted computer and then my DVD drive didn't show, I then went into the regedit again took the "0" out and put the NTIDrvr back in and restarted. My dvddriver then started working and recognized that I had a dvd in and would play it.....I hope this helps someone....
