Lately, I get more and more emails with chinese looking characters. Is that a virus or Spam? I just always deleted it, but is that enough? I use Thunderbird on Windows XP...
I here copied a part of a mail that had no attachment:
if there is no attachment, it looks more like spam instead of a virus. Just make sure that you don't click on the links or load the images in the mail - if there are any: Thunderbird normally doesn't load them, until you click a button. And keep your anti-virus software up to date!
I think, this isn't a virus, too. I've got Babylon, a translator for many of laguages and so I installed the chinese to english dictionary exclusive for you I could decode some fragments of the text. Probably it deals with a "naughty" link and much of stuff you can get. But you have to be adult, to get access. At least I understood the message in this way. So it shouldn't be anything of importance. Ignore it and at best block the despatcher. If it doesn't work, it's easy, too, to create an orderer in your email program and assign a rule that the messages of this despatcher (or also some additional) transfers into this "Junk" orderer.
