To solve annoying Windows errors, you might want to try a Windows Registry Check. In most cases, optimizing the Windows registry will speed up your Windows.
I keep receiving an scvhost.exe error: "The instruction at "Ox745f2783" referenced memory at "0x00000000". The memory could not be "read".
Everytime I run a search and click on search links, it jumps and redirects me to an advertisement. I also have some sort of weird Windows98/XP hybrid OS, screencap here:
I cannot watch any video on websites, since the volume will not work. I get this error message when I click on my volume: "There are no active mixer devices available. To install mixer devices, go to control panel, click printers and other hardware, then click add hardware. This program will now close."
I can also *only* start up my PC in Safe Mode with networking.
I ran an Avira (unpaid edition) scan, and an Avast (unpaid edition) scan. Both of these were thorough. Didn't really helped.
I also ran Ad-aware, but nothing. I downloaded Spybot, but it is not letting me run the program.
I turned off Windows Automatic Updates, which has stopped the error from coming up right now, and the svchost.exe is no longer taking up almost 100% of my CPU.
I ran Hijack this, and used the auto analyze to detect, but it found nothing negative.
Can anyone help me out? It would be greatly appreciated.
please run hijackthis post the log. please run malwareBytes and post the log: www.malwarebytes.org/ - 7k - restart your pc please. then run Combofix post the log.
I somehow feel your windows is not working properly, and that you might miss some drivers. At least looking at your sound not working properly and your computer not starting up properly, I think it is.
The instructions not being found on referenced memory could be a hardware problem. Could run a memcheck.
The advertisement stuff is weird. Also that you're OS is a hybrid 98/xp sounds weird to me.
Anyways, if I were you I would make a fresh install since it sounds too much hassle to solve all problems seperately.
