A friend has this old 1.7 ghz amd pc with an 8 or 16 mb onboard videocard. she isn't totally sure No she asked me if a 19" Samsung syncmaster widdescreen or a 22" would work with that because of the wider screen?
My experience with widescreen displays is, that the image will be stretched to fit the monitor, if the graphic card and its driver does not support the resolution.
You need a newer model with at least 64MB RAM (this is a guess: i couldn't get it working once with a 32MB card...)
