replace old version of power point?

« on: 15.11.06, 21:05:57 »

Hi, today I recognized I'm using a really old version of power point. It's from 1997. Can I simply exchange this one programme or do I have to reinstall the entire office package? The others are also from 1997 but PP is the only one bothering me... any advice?

Hi! I don't know if you just can simply replace one part of the office package. What is the problem with the old Powerpoint? Have you tried www.openoffice.org once? It's a free office, and I use this for making Powerpoint documents always...

thanks but I have to prepare presentations as well.
The problem is that there is no overview of all slices on the left.
I never heard of open office. Does it work just like power point?
