dwmapi.dl ???
To solve annoying Windows errors, you might want to try a Windows Registry Check. In most cases, optimizing the Windows registry will speed up your Windows.
Hi, I have Vista Home Premium, just formatted, no * bitte keine illegalen Tipps *s, no strande stuff, quite no programs yet. And no updates. I am going to install the SP1 now. I have Comodo personal firewall 3, and its Defense+ tlls me that some programs are trying to install a hook, dwmapi.dl (not dll), under system32. I said no, and it is not installed... But, is it something dangerous? Is it safe? Is it important? No info on the web, just some few guys on comodo forum, with same problem and doubt... Help!
Are you sure it's not "dwmapi.dll"? That should be a part of Windows Vista, according to http://www.processlibrary.com/directory/files/dwmapi/229471. It is said, that Vista sometimes shortens the filename of a .DLL into a .DL in an error message (http://www.pchelpforum.com/spyware-adware/47968-dwmapi-dl.html#post273397)
