Title: Change startbutton text in windos XP! Post by: starter on 16.11.06, 08:57:49 How can I change the text on the start-button? I've seen that once, but they didn't want to tell me how...

- where ever you've seen that - forget it, there is no effort behind it • whether it is done by a "skin-tool" • or a "surface-tune-up-tool" ! there is no effort behind it (my opinion) ;) (but: to change my mind - tell me why U want that) Title: Re: Change startbutton text in windos XP! Post by: nico on 16.11.06, 18:06:09 I agree with ebill, but here is a solution for your own startbutton. At least it looks nicer then :)
http://www.theeldergeek.com/change_text_on_xp_start_button.htm You could call it "Stop", so you are not confused that you have to click start to stop the computer... (http://www.computerhilfen.de/fachbegriffe-c-Computer.html) ;) But in Vista, the button just has the Windows (http://www.computerhilfen.de/fachbegriffe-w-Windows.html) Logo, at least on the actual screenshots.
