Title: external hard disk question Post by: tth on 16.11.06, 14:14:22 Hey, I bought an external hard disk (Trekstor), quite big, 300GB. Now I'm wondering if it makes sense to divide it into several partitions? I'm using it for videomaterial mainly.

If you're using your Drive just for Video stuff, you'd better setup only one partition, (http://www.computerhilfen.de/fachbegriffe-p-Partition.html) since video data (especially raw material) can become extremely large. Several partitions could be cumbersome in this case. cheers 8) JoSsiF
