Title: 2 firewalls on my winME system-now it doesn\'t run Post by: danielhildebrand on 11.03.07, 15:23:05 unfortunately I didn't take care while installing a software on my system, so the included firewall was installed as well. I have bluescreen everytime I switch on my laptop because I already have a firewall.
How can I uninstall the newer firewall? Thanks for answers, daniel Title: Re: 2 firewalls on my winME system-now it doesn\'t run Post by: nico on 11.03.07, 17:35:47 Have you tried to but in safe-mode (press F8 key while booting, before the windows (http://www.computerhilfen.de/fachbegriffe-w-Windows.html) logo appears). Try from there to go to the software (http://www.computerhilfen.de/fachbegriffe-s-Software.html) settings and delete the unwanted prog.

Select Start, Programs, [Program Name], Uninstall [Program Name] (or [Program Name] Uninstaller). You'll usually be asked to confirm that you want to remove the program; click OK. If the application (http://www.computerhilfen.com/explanation-a-Application.html) doesn't have an uninstall option, try the Windows (http://www.computerhilfen.com/explanation-w-Windows.html) Add/Remove feature in the Control Panel. Choose Start, Settings, Control Panel, Add/Remove Programs. Select the firewall (http://www.computerhilfen.com/explanation-f-Firewall.html) from the list (if it's there), then click Remove.
