Computerhilfen.com: Win Vista cursor prob

I installed Vista a few days ago.
Since then, my cursor won't work properly.
When I'm typing a text, the cursor will not move one space backwards and if I want to change anything in the text I have to highlight it.

I also have an old keyboard, might this be the reason? What can I do to identify whats wrong?

please help me... it makes me sick

hello, you could borrow a newer keyboard (http://www.computerhilfen.com/explanation-k-Keyboard.html) off a friend and plug that in and see if the sorts the problem out, if its the same then you will need to look deeper perhaps try using a USB (http://www.computerhilfen.com/explanation-u-USB.html) keyboard (http://www.computerhilfen.com/explanation-k-Keyboard.html) rather than a PS2 one?
