Though many things in Second Life are still for free, the more interesting items are not: Own land, furniture for your home, nice shirts or dresses or the best hairdos.

If you are a premium SL member, you get a weekly fee to use and spend in the game. To become premium member, you have to pay real-live money first for your account. Earn money How-To But even in game you can earn the needed Linden-Dollar ($L). A search for "earn" or "camp" in the edit / search menu offers quite a few places that pay out money for only sitting or dancing. Some stores pay already a few $L for 10 minutes of sitting ("camping") on a special chair or bench. These objects have a hovering text that tells how much you can earn. In othere aread you get paid for dancing on a specific dance-spot. To earn money with camping, just right-click the chair and click "camp". After earning enough money, use the new button "stand up" above the normal buttons. Be aware: Some casinos only start to count the camping time, when you also play (and pay!). There are also free camping alternatives, take a good look.

How-To "Dance" Dancing is as easy as camping - there are special spots that offer you "Dance" in the menu after been clicked with right mouse-button. The avatar dances without your help and you just have to wait until you get a message, that you have been paid. After that, you can use the new "stand up" button to leave again. Some spaces ask you to do some special action to receive the money: You might have to click a message to first open a website etc. Be sure you do so (check that your browser (http://www.computerhilfen.de/fachbegriffe-b-Browser.html) opens when playing fullscreen!), or you might not be paid.
