Title: Tipp: VLC Player update now works with Windows Vista Post by: nico on 01.06.07, 10:26:23 Older versions of the free VLC player had a problem with Windows (http://www.computerhilfen.de/fachbegriffe-w-Windows.html) Vista: While playing you could here the sound but only saw a black screen.
With changing the settings it was still possible to playback video: Settings / Preferences in VLC Player, there Video / Output modules. Set Video output module ("Advanced options") to “OpenGL”, save and restart VLC.
