Title: i guess i broke my usb port Post by: andy007 on 10.07.07, 17:00:56 hey everyone. One of my three USB (http://www.computerhilfen.com/explanation-u-USB.html) ports (usb (http://www.computerhilfen.com/explanation-u-USB.html) 2.0) is not working properly anymore. Why's that? I tried to work with a few older usb (http://www.computerhilfen.com/explanation-u-USB.html) devices (didnt work), can that be a reasn?
Title: Re: i guess i broke my usb port Post by: nico on 10.07.07, 22:06:27 Normally it shouldn't be a problem to use slower USB (http://www.computerhilfen.com/explanation-u-USB.html) hardware (http://www.computerhilfen.com/explanation-h-Hardware.html) as it automatically adjusts the speed in this cases. Maybe a normal hardware (http://www.computerhilfen.com/explanation-h-Hardware.html) problem? A disconnected wire on the inside? I wouldn't worry on that, use the other two ports and if you need more, there are cheap USB (http://www.computerhilfen.com/explanation-u-USB.html) hubs that are plugged in an USB (http://www.computerhilfen.com/explanation-u-USB.html) port and offer you some more ports again.
