There is also some software (http://www.computerhilfen.com/explanation-s-Software.html) updates for your laptop (http://www.computerhilfen.com/explanation-l-Laptop.html) running Windows (http://www.computerhilfen.com/explanation-w-Windows.html) Vista offered on the HP website:
http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/softwareCategory?product=3289677&lc=en&cc=us&dlc=en&lang=en&cc=us You'll find new audio, chipset, graphics, input-device, modem (http://www.computerhilfen.com/explanation-m-Modem.html) and network (http://www.computerhilfen.com/explanation-n-Network.html) drivers and also a BIOS (http://www.computerhilfen.com/explanation-b-BIOS.html) update (http://www.computerhilfen.com/explanation-u-Update.html) (be careful!) and "Essential System Updates for Microsoft Windows (http://www.computerhilfen.com/explanation-w-Windows.html) Vista". Hope that helps?
