I do not have the option to reduce it immediately (others have an option to choose different pdf (http://www.computerhilfen.com/explanation-p-PDF.html) varieties, I only can choose "print" and than "save as pdf"). Thank you for help!

It's a free Office client that can import Word files (best to safe as .odp instead of .doc, if possible) and export as PDF (http://www.computerhilfen.com/explanation-p-PDF.html) from Neooffice. You then have a bunch of options how to decrease file size by e.g. compressing included images.
