start/settings/systemsettings/system/Hardware/Devicemanager.. there should be an error code.. ..try to reinstall, your display (http://www.computerhilfen.com/explanation-d-Display.html) drivers, there. put driver (http://www.computerhilfen.com/explanation-d-Driver.html) cd in first.
