this message <windows root>\\system32\\hal.d11 appears on startup. what do i do? i can still access my computer, (http://www.computerhilfen.com/explanation-c-Computer.html) but i don't want it to crash or anything, so i want this sorted out. i have Windows (http://www.computerhilfen.com/explanation-w-Windows.html) XP Home Edition, iv'e tried system restore, and re-load my programs back on, but message is still there, and i haven't loaded the programs back on... please help! in most of the cases the error message appears when the computer (http://www.computerhilfen.com/explanation-c-Computer.html) runs on high temperature. You can try to clean the fans, leave the side panel open etc. Less frequently it can set out to be a problem with the BIOS, (http://www.computerhilfen.com/explanation-b-BIOS.html) but I'am no expert in this case. i actually found the problem, it was windows (http://www.computerhilfen.com/explanation-w-Windows.html) XP not installed properly. so i re-installed it and it's now fixed! but thanks anyway for your suggestion!
