Title: Vista Premium - Acer Aspire 7520 Laptop - HL-DT-ST DVDRAM GSA-T20N ATA Device Post by: GravyPanda on 08.07.08, 17:28:01 So i recently uninstalled a program I was using for ISO files via a virtual CD/DVD Drive [I can't remember the name of the program] and now I can't seem to get my DVD (http://www.computerhilfen.com/explanation-d-DVD.html) drive to work. I can insert a CD/DVD and I can hear it reading the disc, however, the auto-start does not kick in and when I try to open the CD/DVD from 'My Computer' it keeps telling me the disc is blank, (http://www.computerhilfen.com/explanation-b-Blank.html) no matter what disc I try. I have tried DeadMatt's method of deleting the UpperFilter from Regedit, but that has done nothing. I have also tried uninstalling the drive only to find that it has reinstalled after a restart and it still does not like any disc.
Any ideas from you guys would be much appreciated. Dane Title: Re: Vista Premium - Acer Aspire 7520 Laptop - HL-DT-ST DVDRAM GSA-T20N ATA Devic Post by: guest on 09.08.08, 02:20:51 how about you turn your system recovery back?
