Motherboard drivers didnt geht installed
Drivers for the Graphics neither...

didn't happen after a reinstall. from the looks of it, system is working fine. motherboard (http://www.computerhilfen.com/explanation-m-Motherboard.html) drivers came pre-installed with purchase of machine, since then I haven't reinstalled but might have 'updated' windows (http://www.computerhilfen.com/explanation-w-Windows.html) drivers. driver (http://www.computerhilfen.com/explanation-d-Driver.html) for graphics card = same came pre-installed, I haven't manually updated or reinstalled them.

now the drive read a content-filled cd (not a 'content-filled' dvd) (http://www.computerhilfen.com/explanation-d-DVD.html) but started slowing read speed a lot. however, when I insert a blank (http://www.computerhilfen.com/explanation-b-Blank.html) dvd (http://www.computerhilfen.com/explanation-d-DVD.html) in drive bay and push in into it's slot, the system reads it as blank (http://www.computerhilfen.com/explanation-b-Blank.html) dvd (http://www.computerhilfen.com/explanation-d-DVD.html) and indeed iindicates it is blank (http://www.computerhilfen.com/explanation-b-Blank.html) by showing up in contents of 'my computer'.

please help for a workaround, or suggest any new and better dvd (http://www.computerhilfen.com/explanation-d-DVD.html) drives for laptops. thanks a lot. 

Im not quite sure, but it sounds as if you had some disk (cd) in, which is now requesting for answer cause it hasn´t been finished before properly...
