Second Life is not really a game, but more like a second identity that people can use in the virtual world. In this virtual world you can walk around, tweak your character the way you want it to look (haircuts, make-up, clothes but also height/weight etc), talk to other people and even fly!

Tip: How to unpack boxes in Second Life
After clicking, taking or buying them (even free items can be bought - for 0 $L), they appear in the inventory tab, mostly in the "Object" folder. Drag them from there to the ground, select "Open" and copy the items to your inventory. From there, you can attach new clothes or accessoires to your avatar. If dragging to the ground is forbidden at the actual place, use the search function to find a "sandboxs" - here you can test and built things.
