Shortcuts make you reach your goal faster. Just like in real life, it works with keyboard shortcuts. A shortcut is a combination of keystrokes that performs a predefined function. Commands or operations can as well be exectuted via some other way, for examle using a menu. Shortcuts, especially those of frequently used commands, save time. Here is the ultimate shortcut list:

GENERAL SHORTCUTS

ALT + F4 - Quit a program
ALT + TAB - Hold down the ALT key and switch through open windows with the tab key
TAB – Go forward to the next field of a form
SHIFT + TAB - Go backwards through a form
F1 - Help menu
CTRL+ X - Cut
CTRL + C - Copy
CTRL + V – Paste
CTRL + Z – Undo

CTRL + ESCAPE - Display Start menu
