Facebook is becoming more popular everyday, as are their thousands of quizzes that people are doing on their website, and publishing to their profiles. Everyone can make these quizzes, or do these quizzes and they’ll appear on the startpage of all their friends facebooks.
Because of this, the more interesting statusupdates are sometimes swamped in the quizposts made by your friends, and are often causing annoyance. It’s possible to stop this, by deleting the friends that make alot of quizzes, out of your facebook. But this measure is not one that alot of people want to make.
Now it is possible to make these quizzes invisible, without deletion of any friends. You can do this by clicking hide, but this has to be done everytime. This repetition is taken away though, by installing an addon to Firefox, Safari or Opera: according to Daniels blog the addon Greasemonkey and the Facebook Purity Script will filter out the quiz messages so that they’re not displayed (not available for Internet Explorer yet).
