How to install more Notebook RAM memory

24th Jun 09 at 11:55 am. Trackback

iconAdditional RAM memory can easily speed up your computer’s working power and is a cheap and in most cases easy to install speed booster. With most laptops, you can access the notebooks RAM slots from the bottom.

First of all you have to make sure that your notebook is completely turned off, battery is taken out and the computer is also disconnected from power. If you cannot find an opening for the RAM chips at the bottom of your laptop, please take a look in your PCs manual. This is also needed to make sure that you can insert more memory chips and which chips are needed.

If you can insert another RAM chip or want to replace the existing memory with a newer and bigger one, start opening the RAM slot and follow our video guide.

Please make sure that you only use slight pressure to not destroy the RAM slot or the memory chip. If the new RAM chip does not fit with soft pressure, you might have tried to insert an incompatible RAM module.
