The PDF bug

The bug in Adobes Acrobat Reader seems worse then expected in the beginning: With a manipulated PDF document, hackers could use Javascript-Links to open or delete files or to start and run programs, so an expert of the security company SPI Dynamics.

Adobe suggests to update to the newest PDF reader, Acrobat Reader 8. The security breach was found only a couple of days ago and made public on the conference of the “Chaos Computer Club” in Berlin, Germany.
