Avira AntiVir suspects Winlogon.exe to be virus

The free AntiVir anti virus software in its yesterdays update suspected the windows program winlogon.exe to be the trojan horse “TR/WLHack.A”. An update later this morning corrected the mistake in the software newest signature data.

If a user already moved or quarantined the file “winlogon.exe”, he has to move it back to its original location “C:\Windows\System32\winlogon.exe” to be able to use windows normally again.
