The new Apple iPhone 3G is already cracked by employees of the gadget website Gizmodo.com. It is said, that the phone was already cracked before it’s official introduction.
A cracked iPhone can be used on all networks, so not only on the networks of the providers Apple has an exclusive deal with.

Apples iPhone cell-phone will be available with 3G (UMTS connectivity) in only 60 days, according to Walt Mossberg from All Things Digitally talking about obstacles with IPTV and US connection-speeds.

Orange sells the iPhone in France since this thursday. The price including contract and simlock is 399,- Euro - as much as everywhere else in europe. Without any contract and simlock it’s only 749,- and 250,- Euros cheaper then the simlock free version sold in Germany at the moment.

Apple discontinues selling the 4GB iPhone model and therefor reduced the price of the 8GB by 200,- US$ yesterday. The new only iPhone model is now only 399,- and a hundert dollar chearper then the formerly 4GB version.
