Windows XP SP3 has problems with AMD processors

After Microsoft has postponed Service Pack 3 for Windows XP already several times, also due to compatibilityproblems, AMD users are now reporting problems with SP3. In some cases the computer will not start anymore, in others the computer crashes during installation.

Vista’s first servicepack ready

Apple launches Safari Browser now for Windows

Parallels 3 runs 3D Windows-Games on a Mac

Nvidia now offers GeForce 8800 drivers for Vista

Finally, Nvidia offers its GeForce 8800 drivers now for Windows Vista for free download from the Nvidia website. According to a Nvidia spokeswoman this shall now be the final version, but still might be optimized later. The driver is needed to use the new DirectX 10 functions of Windows Vista. (nro)

Vista sales lower than XP in the beginning
