In most cars a wild chaos of CDs can be found, but the demanded one very often remains lost. How long winded, given the fact that all your favourite music is saved and clearly organised on your iPod. This was recognized not only by hifi producers (as reported by computerhilfen) but now also by some producers out of the automobile industry.
The mp3 player can already be connected to the car by using the AUX interface without problems and in a cost-saving way. The navigation has to be handled on the iPod itself though. A more comfortable possibility is an integrated iPod interface in your car. Some producers offer this docking station for initial purchases ex works, for example VW. The price is about 330 Euros (430 US Dollar). This was reported by the German newspaper Kölner Stadtanzeiger in the latest weekend edition.
This way, the player can be plugged into the center console and can be operated directly via the radio buttons. The folders and songs will be shown in the radio display. At the same time the battery is recharged, like hifi systems also do. (vck)
