Patch for Vista re-activation problem

Microsoft offers a new patch for Windows Vista to prevent the need to reactivate Vista on a computer. This could happen, when new software or new drivers are installed or deleted again.

Microsoft writes in its knowledge base article: “You may be prompted to activate Windows Vista on a computer on which Windows Vista activation was not previously required. Although this problem rarely occurs, it may occur during typical use of a Windows Vista-based computer”.
