To built smaller notebooks with less cooling and less power-consumption, Apple plans to realease a laptop that uses flash-memory instead of a harddrive, rumors say. Apple uses NAND memory chips since 2005 for its iPod players.

With using flash memory, the Apple notebooks could get even smaller and thinner, and the battery lasts longer. The main problem of using big NAND memmory chips is the higher price at the moment, anylysts say.
