Video: Quake 3 Arena on iPod Touch and iPhone

Quake 3 Arena has been ported for iPod Touch and iPhone and seems to run quite fast on the small device. To run 3rd party software, the iPhone or iPod has to be hacked until now: With the upcoming firmware 2.0 there will be the option to download software right away through iTunes.

Instead of using buttons to walk the iPhone Quake version uses the motion detection sensor in the device to move, a shot is fired just by clicking the touchscreen.

As this video shows, the iPod port shall already be network- and multiplayer ready.
