Wikipedia: 10 million articles online

The free encyclopedia Wikipedia celebrates it’s 10th million articles in 250 languages this week. The 10th million article was about the painter Nicholas Hilliard, in Hungarian.

It was only 1.5 years ago that Wikipedia reached 5 million articles. Most used language on Wikipedia is still English, with about 2.308.000 articles. Second most used language is German (729.000 articles) and the third is French (640.000 articles).
